Winter ... and shit happens

We have a lot of snow as you can see ... sometimes we have a couple of hours work in the morning to get over the snow.

Finally, yesterday Suvi and I got stucked with the car and the trailer full of duck - meat (about 400 kg) for the dogs on the road to Kivi-Kiekki - at 2:00 AM

... the trailer with the ducks is still there ... :)

So we and especially the dogs have to wait for our neighbour with the off-road vehicle.

Dog Training

First the introduction from Jussi, how it could work...than we cath the dogs (Tassu) ... and put them to the stake out to harnessing them.

Usually the lead dog is the first dog at the gang line to keep it taut - that helps to get the rest of the team ready.

If there is not so much snow, the team is hitched to a ATV for the training round.
